Noorio App FAQ: Storage — Local & Cloud
Storage — Local & Cloud
What local storage do the cameras have?
Cameras have free built-in local storage (e.g., 8 GB on 1080p models, 16 GB on 2K models) — roughly enough for ~150 days at ~20 events/day. When full, oldest events are overwritten. Some models (e.g., SD200) support a microSD card.
How do I use a microSD card (SD-card models)?
- Format the card to FAT32 or exFAT on a computer.
- Turn off the power switch next to the charging port before inserting/removing the card.
- Insert the card, power back on, pull to refresh the app home page, then open SD Card Management to confirm it's detected.
- If not recognized, try a different card or reformat it.
What is cloud storage and how much does it cost?
Cloud storage is an optional service that saves clips off-device (less battery use, no risk of losing footage if the camera is stolen or damaged).
- 1 camera: $4.99/month or $39.99/year
- 10 cameras: $12.99/month or $99.99/year
- Cloud uses one account, but you pay a cloud fee per camera.
- Once enabled, footage is read from the cloud first (generally the last 30 days from the date cloud storage was enabled) to save battery.
How do I bind cloud storage to a camera?
- Open the app → tap your profile picture (top-left).
- Tap My Services (or Cloud Storage).
- Select your unexpired cloud package.
- Choose the device to bind and confirm.
To rebind a package to a different camera, open the package details, Unbind the old device, then Bind the target camera. Binding does not change the package's remaining validity.
How do I cancel cloud-storage auto-renewal?
- Tap your profile picture (top-left).
- Tap My Services.
- Open the subscribed package.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap the blue "Here" button to confirm cancellation.
Your current package stays active until the end of the paid cycle; it just won't auto-renew.
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, manage/cancel the subscription in your Apple account settings.
How do I get a cloud-storage refund?
Provide: a screenshot of the Bills page in My Services, the email bound to your Noorio account, and the order number.
How are my recordings stored with a Smart Hub?
Footage is stored in the Hub. In the app, select a specific camera to see only that camera's recordings — the app filters footage per camera even though it's all stored in the Hub.
