Noorio App FAQ: Installation
Installation
General installation tips
- Mount under an eave/roof or use a shield to protect the camera from direct sun and heavy rain.
- Outdoors, install 7–10 ft (2–3 m) high at about a 15° downward angle for the best field of view.
- Don't block the antenna (top of the camera) with metal.
- Mount in a corner so movement crosses the detection zone.
- Choose a spot with a strong Wi-Fi signal (confirm smooth live streaming there first).
How do I use the mounting bracket?
- Turn the bracket knob clockwise to disassemble it.
- Soft materials (wood/plastic): screw the base directly to the wall. Hard materials (concrete/brick): stick on the positioning card, drill with a 15/64" (5.95 mm) bit, insert anchors, then screw the base on.
- Fasten the ball knob to the base and tighten the camera onto the bracket.
Tools you may need: screwdriver, drill with a 5.95 mm bit, and a ladder.
Using the camera outdoors
Keep the rubber charging-port plug tightly sealed to prevent water entry. Don't leave the charging cable connected in open-air/outdoor settings.
Note on 3M adhesive stickers
Current products no longer include 3M tape or warning stickers (removed for safety/product reasons). We recommend screw installation for a more stable mount.
About the doorbell (D110)
The D110 offers two installation methods — with or without existing doorbell wiring. Protect it from direct sun and heavy rain as with other cameras.
