How to add a Smart Hub device?

Smart Hub setup

Use the Hub's exact model guide and specified power supply. If its initial setup requires Ethernet, connect the network cable to the router and keep it connected until that setup finishes. Follow the matching Hub entry in the app; do not mix a wired initialization step with a camera's Wi-Fi QR-code flow.

Use the pairing button and indicator prompts specified for that Hub. Where a factory reset is actually required, follow the model's instructions; an arbitrary short press is not interchangeable with a reset. Older IVP hardware uses SYNC and newer hardware uses RESET.

Switching to Wi-Fi

Switch only if the Hub model and its app provide a supported Wi-Fi option. Confirm the new connection is working before removing the Ethernet cable.

Adding cameras to the Hub

Check camera-to-Hub compatibility first. T110/T120 and B200-SE/B210-SE do not support Hub association. Other models must also be checked individually. Use the Hub option available for a compatible camera and the location/account arrangement required by the app.

Do not use a Hub as a universal remedy for an offline camera. Supported camera counts and network modes depend on the Hub model.
