Noorio Smart Camera - Account Security Operation Guide

[Noorio Smart Camera - Account Security Operation Guide]()

[I. Deleting a Shared Account]()

To remove an authorized shared account, follow these steps:

  1.       Access the camera's Settings Page;
  2.       Find and tap the Share option;
  3.       In the shared account list, select the account to be deleted and tap Delete to complete the operation.

[II. Confirming No Shared Accounts & Securing Your Account]()

  1.       Confirm no shared accounts: If no other accounts are displayed in the device's Share Menu, it means you have not shared the device with others via the official sharing function;
  2.       Handling password sharing scenarios: If you have previously shared your personal account password with others, it is recommended to change your APP login password immediately to prevent unauthorized access to your camera;
  3.       Effect after password change: Once the password is changed, the old password will become invalid. Others will need the new password to log in to your account (if you do not inform them of the new password, they will no longer be able to access it).

[III. Changing Your App Login Password]()

[3.1 Normal Password Change]()

When you remember your current password and need to update it, follow these steps:

  1.       Open the Noorio APP and tap your Profile Picture in the top-left corner;
  2.       Access the Personal Account Page and find the Change Password option;
  3.       Enter your current login password, set a new login password, and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the subsequent confirmation steps.

[3.2 Resetting a Forgotten Password]()

If you forget your current login password, you can reset it in the following way:

  1.       On the APP login page, tap the Forgot Password option;
  2.       Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your bound mobile phone number or email address;
  3.       Receive and enter the verification code, then set a new login password to complete the reset.

[IV. Setting a Strong Login Password]()

To protect your account and camera data security, it is recommended to set a strong password that meets the following criteria:

  1.       Length requirement: The password must be at least 8 characters long;
  2.       Complexity requirement: Combine uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special symbols (e.g., Noorio@2026#);
  3.       Avoid risky information: Do not use easily guessable information such as birthdays, phone numbers, consecutive numbers/letters (e.g., 123456, abcdef);
  4.       Unique password principle: Do not use the same password for other platforms (such as social media, email) to reduce the risk of mass leakage.

[V. Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)]()

If the Noorio APP supports the two-factor authentication function, it is strongly recommended to enable this feature to add an extra layer of security to your account:

  1.       Open the Noorio APP and go to Personal Center > Account Security;
  2.       Find the Two-Factor Authentication option and tap Enable;
  3.       Follow the prompts to bind your mobile phone number or email address (used to receive verification codes);
  4.       After enabling, when logging in on a new device, you need to enter both your password and the received verification code to complete the login.

[VI. Regularly Updating the App]()

Keeping the Noorio APP updated to the latest version can fix known security vulnerabilities and enhance account security:

  1.       Open your phone's app store (App Store for iOS users, Google Play or the corresponding official app market for Android users);
  2.       Search for "Noorio" and check for update notifications;
  3.       If an update is available, install it in a timely manner to ensure that the APP functions and security protection are up to date.
