# What do I do if the camera is offline?

1. Wi-Fi camera checks

Check whether the camera was moved, its distance from the router and any walls or metal obstructions. Confirm whether the router, Wi-Fi name or password changed. If the network details changed, use the setup process for the exact camera model and supported Wi-Fi band.

If the router and Wi-Fi details are unchanged, move the camera near the router where practical, connect its specified power supply and allow a rechargeable model to charge, then restart the router and check whether the camera reconnects. Do not interrupt a firmware update.

Low battery or an unstable network can cause offline status, but the cause must be checked rather than assumed. An offline camera's displayed battery level is only its last reported level.

Frequent disconnections

Check signal strength, distance and intervening walls, the number of devices connected to the router, the router's client limit and available upload bandwidth. Client limits vary by router. Heavy simultaneous use or insufficient upload bandwidth can affect connectivity.

BF200 4G exception

BF200 uses 4G and the Noorio Plus app, not Wi-Fi. If it previously worked and later went offline, do not remove it or use Wi-Fi delete-and-readd steps. Check its data-plan status, power and 4G signal. Removing it without an active data plan may prevent it from being added again. A clear photo of the camera's QR-code label is needed for further device checks.

Further diagnosis

If the camera remains offline, technical review needs its model and device identifier, the approximate start time and time zone, the app status, recent installation/network changes and the results of the checks already performed. Resetting or removing the camera is not a default next step.
