# Noorio App FAQ: Storage — Local & Cloud

Storage — Local & Cloud

What local storage do the cameras have?
Storage depends on the exact model, not resolution alone. Registered built-in storage: B200 8 GB; B210/B211/B310/B311/D110 16 GB. T110/T120 use supported microSD storage up to 256 GB. Other models need their own specification checked. Available space and retention vary with video settings, event frequency, clip length and storage behaviour; do not promise 150 days or infer capacity from 1080p/2K. Local and cloud recordings are separate. Check the app's actual storage status and save important footage before deleting or formatting.

How do I use a microSD card (SD-card models)?
Confirm the exact model supports a microSD card and check its supported capacity/type in the model guide. T110/T120 are registered for microSD up to 256 GB; do not generalize that limit to other models. Before inserting/removing a card, power the device down using its proper method. Check the app's storage/card-management page after powering it on. If a card is not recognized, first record the reported status and check compatibility/seating. Save accessible recordings before any destructive action. Format only when needed, using the method/file system specified for that model and card; explain that formatting erases the card and obtain agreement. Do not prescribe FAT32/exFAT indiscriminately or format to investigate missing footage.

What is cloud storage and how much does it cost?
Cloud storage is an optional service whose current plans, price/currency, billing period, covered camera count, recording type and retention period are shown at purchase and in My Services. Check the customer's actual plan; do not quote historical prices as current or assume every plan covers one camera, ten cameras, 30 days, or continuous recording. Monthly/annual availability depends on the current offering. A cloud service cannot recover footage that was never uploaded. Make sure the intended camera is added to the correct account and bound to an eligible active plan. Do not buy another plan solely because a page is loading: verify account, existing service/trial, payment result and page error first.

How do I bind cloud storage to a camera?
In the correct app account, open the profile/sidebar > My Services (or Cloud Storage), select the active package and its device-management/binding option, choose the intended already-added camera and confirm. Check the plan's device limit and supported model first. Adding another camera to the app is separate from binding cloud service.

For a change of camera or upgrade, first check the current package, target plan, recording access and displayed rules. Use Unbind/Bind only if the supported flow requires it and the customer intends the change; explain effects before proceeding. Do not remove the camera from its account as a substitute for unbinding a service, cancel a paid service unexpectedly, or assume unused validity transfers. If the entry differs or the camera is ineligible, share the account, model/MAC, relevant order and a screenshot.

How do I cancel cloud-storage auto-renewal?
To cancel automatic renewal of a Noorio cloud or intelligent-detection/AI service, open the correct Noorio account > profile picture (top left) > My Services > select the relevant subscribed service > scroll to the bottom and use the blue "Here" cancellation link when shown, then follow the confirmation prompts and verify renewal is off. Cancelling renewal stops future recurring charges while the current paid service remains available for its valid period; it is not a refund or device removal.

For a subscription actually billed by Apple or another store, use that billing provider's subscription-management process. The phone OS alone does not prove the billing channel. If the service is missing, the button fails, or a trial/failed-payment case is unclear, provide the app login account, service/order details and a screenshot. Do not assume a trial or failed charge means renewal is cancelled. Support can verify the correct account/order and submit an authorized cancellation using the existing platform safeguards, then confirm only the verified result. Do not close the current paid service or submit a refund when the customer only requested cancellation.

How do I get a cloud-storage refund?
I'm sorry about the billing trouble. Please share only missing details: your app login account, which cloud or AI service and charge you want reviewed, the order/transaction number, payment channel, charge date, amount/currency, and a receipt or My Services > Bills screenshot. Hide full card details and do not send passwords or verification codes. Clarify whether you want renewal cancelled, a refund requested, or both.

Support first verifies the matching account/platform, unique order, amount, current refund status and your intended scope. Where supported and authorized, we can submit a service refund application and/or cancel renewal using the existing platform safeguards. An application is not an approved or paid refund; we will state the actual verified status. Any arrival estimate must follow the current payment-channel rules and depends on the payment platform and bank. Do not promise a fixed number of days, repeat a pending request or retry an uncertain financial result. Hardware returns/refunds and disputes requiring review go to a human; keep hardware cases unread for review.

Cloud and local playback
I'm sorry you cannot view the recording. Please confirm the model and MAC/serial, whether live view works, whether the problem affects cloud recordings or local storage/SD, the exact recording date/time and time zone, and the error/screenshot. Do not clear storage while we investigate missing recordings.

First try one affected clip and a recent clip. If live view also fails, check power and connectivity and compare the phone on Wi-Fi versus mobile data. If local playback shows decryption/loading, keep the device powered and connected and allow it to finish; do not treat decryption as proof that files are lost. Refresh/reopen the app and retry. Check the app/firmware version appropriate to the exact model; do not interrupt an active update.

For cloud clips, check the correct account/device, package validity at the event time, plan recording type and retention period. Current subscription status does not prove historical coverage; do not assume every plan retains 30 days or records continuously. For local clips, check reported storage status and dates without formatting. Download accessible clips you want to preserve. A thumbnail does not by itself prove a playable file still exists.

If unresolved, send the exact affected times, clip source, device/account details and steps/results already tried. Support can investigate available evidence; deleted/overwritten/expired recordings cannot be promised recoverable. Clearing or formatting is destructive and is not a default playback fix; consider it only after model-specific diagnosis, explaining the loss and obtaining the customer's agreement.

Smart Hub recordings
For a compatible camera actually configured to record to its Hub, select that camera in the app to view its recordings. Verify the current recording destination; do not assume every camera on the account records to the Hub.
