# How do I replace the battery in sensors?

### Replace battery for contact sensors

1. Open the back cover of the sensor and take it off.

2. Install the CR123A battery into the slot correctly.

### Replace battery for motion sensors

1. Twist the back cover of the sensor and take it off.
